Everyone wants to be green these days but too many simply want to appear green. And while RecycleBill can't claim a zero carbon footprint for himself he's certainly trying.
RecycleBill works in a recycling center.
RecycleBill rides his bicycle to work-- sometimes.
RecycleBill never drives unnecessarily and combines as many trips as possible. RecycleBill drives a homemade plug-in hybrid except when he has to haul something in his truck. Currently he's working on building a greener truck than the one he drives today.
RecycleBill shops green by buying locally made products when possible and shopping online in
RecycleBill's Green Store when he can't buy local.
RecycleBill's shop and storage buildings are built from recycled lumber.
RecycleBill recycles everything he can think of and is always thinking of new ways to recycle more. They don't always work but he keeps trying. RecycleBill dabbles in
recycled art.
RecycleBill uses rechargeable batteries and recycles them when they finally die.
RecycleBill's home isn't 100% green but he has added solar collectors, lots of insulation and numerous green powered appliances. His utility bills average less than $50.oo a month.
RecycleBill grows most of his own food in a backyard garden and buys from local farmers.
RecycleBill keeps his own free range chickens.
