Veggisode 24

Veggie Gets Juiced

The Vegetable Stalker accused in the OJ Simpson case! Stay tuned to find out the details. Okay, maybe not all the details, but stay tuned anyway.

Hello, this is Bruce Apple, reporting for VNN., Veggie Network News. Victoria, the little sprouts, and I, are on location in sunny Florida where that escaped convict, Veggie Head Stalker, has allegedly gone in hopes of proving his innocence. Victoria, you and the kids either put your clothes back on or get back in the van. That sun will dry out your buds in no time. Here's what North American Poet Laureate, Billy Jones, had to say about the case.

The Vegetable Stalker set the pace,
the hounds left far behind.
How can a man run oh so fast
with so much there behind?
He said to me, the last we spoke,
“I’m innocent, you see.
It was someone else ate the cherries.
That’s why I must be free.”

So he’s runnin now to someplace else
to try and save his name.
Down South he’ll not be recognized
until he sheds the blame.
And so it is, he pleads his case.
Will it work? I cannot say
for he’s hiding in an orange grove
hanging with OJ (Simpson, that is.)

Could it be the Vegetable Stalker was framed? That’s what some people, including Billy Jones, the Poet Laureate of North America, are saying about this case. And just what has a poet laureate got to do with any of this, anyway? Veggie Head Stalker, AKA: the Vegetable Stalker, swears that he is innocent and will not quit searching for the real criminals until he can prove his innocence. Did he do it? Does anybody really care? And why is the Vegetable Stalker hanging out with OJ Simpson? Is he a super hero too, or just another fruit? Find out more at six and eleven.
