Veggisode 25

Leeks

Veggie Head Stalker spotted in Arkansas. Stay tuned to this VNN. station to find out more.

Hello, this is Junior Apple reporting for VNN., Veggie News Network. Bruce and Victoria are in the back of the VNN. mobile broadcast van banging each other again. What's that, Mom? Well why can't I say it? That's what your doing, right? They're so gross!

Just a few minutes ago, the mighty Vegetable Stalker was spotted running down the middle of the street in the small farming community of Nady, Arkansas. The commotion he caused made townsfolk panic as they feared a nearby dam on the Arkansas River might have broken possibly flooding the entire town. Here's what one witness had to say about what he witnessed:

“I have to stop the leeks!
I have to stop the leeks!”
the Vegetable Stalker shouted out
as he ran down the street,
but all who heard him wondered
as times, they were in drought,
and leaks were not a problem
as there were none about.

Will the Vegetable Stalker stop the leeks? And just what are leeks anyway, garlic or onion? Perhaps they’re more like rutabagas. Hey, that rhymes with Studebaker. I haven’t seen one of those in years. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen a leek in years either. And what about this drought? Could it be the writer of this series is experiencing a drought of new ideas that keeps him hanging on to ol’ Veggie head? Find out the answers to more burning questions.-- no one said Veggie can cook.-- right here at this Veggie station.

For the latest breaking vegetables... ah, ah, I mean latest breaking news, stay tuned to this VNN. station or go to the Veggie Network News website at VegetableStalker.com.
